Gaspar Iwaniura Lorge.
1985, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Artista y diseñador. Utiliza fotografías y escaneos como material para producir sus obras. Estudió Ingeniería Informática y Diseño Gráfico, ambas en la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
Paralelamente a su formación académica, se forma en fotografía y artes visuales con diferentes artistas, entre ellxs: Alberto Goldenstein, Guillermo Ueno, Silvia Gurfein, Tomás Espina y Wo Portillo del Rayo, entre otrxs. Fue becado en el programa PAC FOTX 2021 de la galería Gachi Prietto coordinado por Lorena Fernandez y Francisco Medail.
Sus proyectos fotográficos más relevantes incluyen publicaciones que incorporan reproducciones poco frecuentes, de carácter único y cualidad matérica distintiva. Entre ellas se encuentran ediciones únicas, ediciones de tirada corta y numerada, libros artesanales, diarios impresos en prensa rotativa y libros objeto que unen fotografía y poesía.
Desde el 2020 lleva adelante KOLOR (www.kolor.ar) un proyecto de recuperación del último laboratorio analógico de Argentina. Kolor alberga iniciativas de colección y archivo que involucran a otros artistas y que forman parte de la historia cultural de la fotografía en Argentina. Estas iniciativas tienen como propósito divulgar archivos fotográficos a la vez que circular copias físicas de carácter tradicional y experimental.
En 2022, KOLOR recibe el fondo Mecenazgo del Ministerio de Cultura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires para una producción de fotografías con material analógico de 3 archivos locales relevantes: Archivo de la Memoria Trans (https://archivotrans.ar/), Fundación PH15 (http://www.ph15.org.ar/) y el archivo de Foto Estudio Luisita (https://hachegaleria.com/artista/foto- estudio-luisita/)

He uses photographs and scans as material to produce his works.
Studied Computer Engineering for 4 years and finally graduated in Graphic Design, both at the University of Buenos Aires. He trained in photography in workshops and clinics with different artists. She recently participated in the PAC FOTX 2021 artist programme of Gachi Prieto Gallery.
In 2016 she is working on the project "Possible uses for a newspaper" which results in the publication of "En movimiento", a tabloid format newspaper that brings together photographs taken between 2005 and 2015. At the same time he develops "Territorios", a project that looks at corporeality through the proximity and deformity generated in the scanning process. In 2018 he began "Superficies", a project in which he works on the ideas of materiality and context through large-scale photographs that he intervenes on walls and different objects in the street.
In 2020 he founded KOLOR, a laboratory dedicated to the reproduction of photography using only analogue methods, in order to promote and preserve this craft and to generate an archive from the laboratory's production.
